Vostok SOS is a public initiative helping people affected by the conflict in Eastern Ukraine and internally displaced people. It works to rebuild regions that suffered from military aggression.
How can the institution help you?
The team of legal advisers helps people to enter and leave the temporarily occupied areas of Ukraine, protect their rights and lawful interests, and draft legal documents (applications, information requests, or lawsuits).
Activities
- Humanitarian aid to internally displaced persons and people affected by the war
- Monitoring of the situation along the contact line, documenting the evidence of civilians who witnessed shelling, respect for human rights in the situations when people cross the contact line, the border between Ukraine and Russia or checkpoints, or live in closed settlements
- Civil society development to consolidate human rights through educational, cultural, and art events and mentoring initiatives of local communities
